More Mobile Photography

Whilst planting up my hanging baskets in the garden a Damselfly caught my eye, flying over my garden pond. Armed only with my mobile I managed to take a photo and processed it in Adobe Photoshop. A little bit of sharpening and the photo below is the final result.

After searching on the web, I discovered it was a Large Red Damselfly, common in the UK.

Also catching my eye, was an empty Dragonfly exuvia case hanging on the Marsh Marigold plant steams. It is likely to be an Emperor Dragonfly, as I have seen them flying over my garden pond

I have imported the photo into Photoshop and added a little bit of sharpening.
