I spent the morning at Stodmarsh Nature Reserve in the hope of being able to photograph the Kingfishers that have been seen there for the last few weeks. Some success after sitting for nearly over an hour 😊
The hovering Kingfisher photo was taken from the hide, using my 600mm lens. The bird was right across the far side of the area. The image has been heavily cropped and seen some sharpening in Photoshop. Not the best image, but I will be going back for another go soon.
On my way home, I called in on Elmley Nature Reserve to see if I could spot and photograph any Hares and possibly the Long-eared Owls that have been seen there. No Hares but I did manage to get a few photos of the Owl. Not the clearest of photos, but it does show them in their natural habitat.
