It seems my luck and winning streak is continuing 🙂
I have mentioned, in previous blog posts, that I normally always enter my local camera clubs Annual Natural History Competition.
In the 2022 competition, I was awarded 1st place and a trophy for my image Emperor Dragonfly Empty Exuvia Case. I never thought I would win it again….
I entered the following three images into this years (2023) competition. These have been entered before into other competitions, this year, and scored quite well:
The competition was held on 18th April 2023 and after the judge went through all the images entered, I was awarded with 1st Place and 20 out of 20 for my image: Mating Pair of Banded Demoiselles (Calopteryx Splendens)
So I win for the second year in a row 🙂
This means I will keep the trophy for another year and receive a certificate. 2023 seems to be proving a good year for me in competitions and with my photography.
The other two images both scored 18 out of 20.
