For many years, I have always been a wildlife photographer, but since July 2023 and thanks to friends from my local camera club, I have started to “branch out” into different subjects of photography.
My number one passion will always be Wildlife, however it is nice to try taking other subjects and I have to admit I have enjoyed it.
London
With friends, I have made several trips to London, photographing scenery, the Millennium Bridge, building, shadows, reflections, going on the London Eye and enjoying being out. If any of my friends read this blog, then thank you for the enjoyable times in London.
Event Photography
Since 2023, I have been involved helping with taking some of the photos, for events at Lockmeadow, Maidstone.
I have helped with taking and providing photos of Vintage and Retro Fairs, Maidstone Thai Festival, Maidstone Lite Fest and Santa!

MADM: Making a Difference to Maidstone
In March 2024, my local camera club were contacted by MADM, Maidstone. They were looking for some help in taking new pictures of their staff and volunteers, to update their website with. Myself and two other members of the camera club offered to help and we spent a morning taking portrait photos. Portrait photography was new to me and it was nice to see some of my photos used.
Kent Show Stoppers – Dog Show Photography
In May 2024, I was contacted for help in taking photos of a dog show for Kent Show Stoppers. Along with a friend we managed to capture some wonderful images.
Parkinson’s UK – South East
In May I was contacted by the south east branch of the UK charity Parkinson’s UK. They were looking for some help in capturing photos & moments of their sponsored walk taking place in Mote Park in June 2024. I went along to help take photos of their event and provide them to the charity.
LRPS Distinction
Several friends and people have commented on my photography and mentioned about me possibly trying to obtain a distinction in photography, from the RPS. I am working on a panel of images to put forward for my attempt in obtaining the LRPS distinction. I will let you know how I get on 🙂
