When I first thought about launching a website to share my photography, I came up with name Picture My Wildlife and registered the domain name and a web hosting package. My aim for the website, was for it to be used to show and share my wildlife photography.
When I first started photography, I was only interested in photographing wildlife. After a few years and with help from friends, I started to venture into landscapes, portraits and event photography and so the name and website Picture My Wildlife was not suitable anymore.
Ben Kirby Photography was then created, allowing me to share all my photography.
Whilst I am still taking photos of wildlife, I am also taking and getting more involved in Event photography. At the beginning of 2026, I took the decision that I would split my photography website into two separate websites.
Ben Kirby Photography is still going to be my main photography name and website, but I am going to move my Wildlife photography onto a separate site and relaunch Picture My Wildlife. Picture My Wildlife will be part of Ben Kirby Photography.
So over the next few months, you will start to see changes made to the Ben Kirby Photography website, involving the move of all Wildlife photos\photography to the Picture My Wildlife website and new content\photos being added to my main website.
