Over the years, I have entered a number of my local camera clubs competitions and some external competitions.

In some of them, I have been successful in winning a 3rd place, 1st place or seeing my images put forward to the PAGB to represent the KCPA.

For the first time, in 2015, I entered the KCPA Annual PDI & Print Competition.  My image “Black-Tailed Skimmer Dragonfly (Orthetrum cancellatum)” was accepted and displayed on a TV screen for members of the public to see at the Creek Creative Studios in Faversham, Kent.

2016

Following my success with “Spotted Fritillary Butterfly & Snail”, in 2015, it was put forward by my local camera club, into a competition between four Maidstone clubs.

The judge awarded it 19 out of 20.

Following my image “Mating Pair Of Banded Demoiselles (calopteryx splendens)” being accepted in the KCPA Annual Exhibition 2021, it was selected to be put forward into the PAGB Inter Federation Competition 2021 to represent the KCPA.  Out of a possible 15 points it was awarded 13 and accepted.

2022

I won my local camera clubs Annual Natural History PDI Competition for 2022, with a certificate awarded and a trophy I could keep for the year.

Following successfully scoring enough points in my local camera club Monthly PDI (projected digital image) competitions in the 2021-2022 season, I was promoted to Class 1 for the upcoming season (2022-2023).

2023

My Flying Gannet photo was awarded 3rd Place, in Class 1, in my local camera club competition, in January 2023.

During the 2022-2023 season, at my local camera club, I scored enough points to come top of the league table for Class 1 (PDI entries).  I was awarded the Liz Glenn certificate.
