Spring Butterflies – Orange Tip

During one of my morning walks, I found a male Orange Tip butterfly at roost on a Milkmaid.

I decided to try out a test. I took the same photo with my mobile and DSLR.

The first photo is with my mobile and the second with a DSLR.

Whilst the mobile gives a good photo it is not so good a blurring out the background in Auto mode. The DSLR image has a slightly better background.

Both photos have been processed in Photoshop for some sharpness and processing of the RAW DSLR image.
