In my earlier blog (Branching out into different photography subjects & moving forward), I mentioned I was invited to go along and help take photos of the Walk for Parkinson’s Mote Park event.
Parkinson’s UK are a charity that are working to help people affected, raise money for research and hopefully get closer to finding a cure. It was my pleasure to help the charity with their work, taking the photos and help raising awareness.
Armed with my Sony and Canon DSLR cameras I spent the day taking photos of the event, trying to capture the moments and the achievements of the participants.
I provided them with a selection of photos and received a very nice email and comments back:
“Your wonderful images truly captured the spirit and energy of the day. The photos are amazing, and I especially love how you made the blue shirts really pop!
Your keen eye for detail and dedication to capturing the perfect moments have not gone unnoticed. Your work has added tremendous value to our event, and we are deeply grateful.
Thank you once again for your incredible contribution. We look forward to working with you again soon!“
When receiving comments back, like these, it makes me feel happy, and it would be a pleasure to work with them again.
There was also another photographer helping take photos. A selection of my photos have been posted on their social media: https://www.facebook.com/ParkinsonsSouthFundraising/
Please help support Parkinson’s UK.
